Play Day Results-June 21, 2022

Good Morning Ladies!!!!

Please be sure to read this email thoroughly, as there is some VERY IMPORTANT information!

First, we asked the pro shop why they close the sign ups so early. Tim’s reply is that it helps him set up the tee sheet for the next week. He has stated that he would rather have us all sign up early and then cancel, versus trying to sign up within the week ahead. That being said, we are putting a new protocol into effect.

If you need to add or cancel within the eight (8) days leading up to the play day you will now need to email; Tim Sands – proshop@dbgcc.com, Mike Bradford – mbradford@dbgcc.com, Cindy Renshaw – cindyrenshaw2021@gmail.com,  and myself Becky Heagle – reh85@msn.com. I know this sounds like a lot, however by doing this I am hoping that there will be less confusion and our events will run smoother.

Second, it was brought up that some are not receiving my emails. If you could please respond to this email, I would appreciate it. This way I can cross check where there might be an issue.

Now, on to the fun stuff.

Play Day Results-June 14, 2022 PPLN

Hi all.
First a few reminders and a new play day allowance.
After Sunday at 6 am, if you wish to be added or removed for that Tuesday please contact Becky or I or the person in charge that day if you know.
18 holers are not utilizing the two newer drop zones. #2 and #4 (after the 2nd water hazard).
The maintenance crew uses a tree root remover. Areas that have been worked on will be free relief at the nearest point no closer to the hole. This includes areas where the machine has grooved the turf . I did not know how to relate that but you will know when you see it.

Donna Ybarra carded off with the win over Kay Bargmann for low net honors with 68. She received $14 pro shop credit.  Cindy Aafedt had low putts of 29. She also received $14 for her efforts.

Flight winners received $12, $8 for second, $4.50 for third, and second flight had a 4th place for $3.50.

Play Day Results-May 24, 2022

Hi All,

Here are your results:

Tuesday’s game was 39. (39 – Handicap = how many points player is supposed to make. Each score is worth an allotted number of points. At the end of the round, subtract how many points made from how many supposed to make. EX: Becky Heagle 13 handicap, 39 – 13 = 26 points supposed to make. Makes 28 points, 26 – 28 = -2. I went over my points by 2.)

We had 15 players, 3 flights, 5 players in each flight. 1st received $12.25 and 2nd received $5.25.
