Play Day Results-April 24, 2025

Hello Ladies,
Thank you to the 17 ladies who came out to play Thursday in the sunny — but cooler and slightly breezy weather. The game was Fairway Minus Putts where you received 5 reward points for every Fairway you hit from your drive on all Par 4’s and Par 5s.  If you hit the Fairway, you needed to subtract your Putts on that Hole.  The winner of this individual game had the highest Total Game Score.  I apologize to those ladies who thought that Putts were to be added rather than subtracted from the 5 reward points for hitting the Fairway.

There were three flights.  Each winner received $13 in their Club account, and the lady coming in second received $6.75.  Congratulations to all our winners, and a super “High 5” to the big Chip-In Winners!

Play Day Results-April 10, 2025

Hi Ladies-

The weather was beautiful today – our games, not so much.  The course was in great shape, but fairways played long, rough not too high, but very dense, and the greens slow after being sanded.

We only had 1 Birdie:  Joanne Leete on Hole 5!

Usually, Cindy A and Terry B are good for at least one each, if not a flock.

We had 17 ladies and the range of handicaps was huge so I had 3 flights: Handicaps to 0-28; Handicaps 31-35; Handicaps 36.

2nd placeKay Bargmann & Bonnie Ladd-32-$3.50 eachDoris Bunnell & Deborah Veatch-34-$3.50 each

There were NO Chip Ins!  The pot is $49!

Closest to the pins paid $5.25 each and the breaking point in handicap was 31/32.

Thanks for playing!  No play next Thursday as we’re hosting Diablo Team Play.  The following Thursday is Central Valley Team play, so there’ll be fewer players for the Chip-In pot.  Don’t miss out, so be sure and sign up!
