Ladies,
Yesterday, July 22, the Discovery Bay Team Play teams played another Central Valley golf tournament at Greenhorn Creek Golf Club. It was quite warm (more like hot), but it was a beautiful day. We were very tired at the end of the the day and I applaud our ladies for their great effort and good golf games.
Please note below, our teams are doing a great job. We are only 5 points away from first place and we have 2 more tournaments to complete the 2010 Team Play schedule. Upcoming tournaments are scheduled for Elkhorn and Del Rio.
STANDINGS:
Club combined standings by points: Second Place – 24.5 (high 29.5 – low 14.5)
(Ranking: A Teams points won – 11.0
B Teams points won – 13.5)
Club combined by holes won: Third place – 166 (high 174 – low 141)
(Ranking: A Teams holes won – 78
B Teams holes won – 88)
