No rain today but it sure was windy!  

We played Putt for Dough.  Points were awarded for 1 and 2 putts and deducted for 3 or 4 putts.  

First Flight- 1st place- Cindy Aafedt having 60 points; 2nd place-Fran Grace with 55 points.

Second Flight- 1st place-Bonnie Ladd with 52 points; 2nd place-Mary Watkins with 40 points.

First place winners will receive $14 each, and second place winners will receive $7 each in pro shop credit.

There were 3 chip ins:

  • Mary Watkins on hole 15

Amount per Chip In was $4.

It was another Frost Delay, but we got the golf in and actually was a nice day. 15 Ladies participated in the game called T’s and F’s. Score was determined by adding net scores on the holes that started with a T or F.

Despite a frost delay, the day warmed up nicely.  We only had 12 players making up our 2 flights. The game was Crystal Ball. First place winners will receive $14 and second place $7 credit. 

  • First Flight 1st: Cathy Fancey with a score of 54
  • First Flight 2nd: Linda Montgomery with a score of 56
  • Second Flight 1st: Joanne Leete with a score of 55
  • Second Flight 2nd: Kay Bargmann with a score of 58

Kay made the only birdie.  It was on Hole #16.

There were no chip ins, so the $11 will carry over.

Just a reminder to fill out the club survey which landed in most everyone’s Junk mail.  It was sent 1/18 and is from Dan Klunk.   

Jan Murphy is offering a nice pair of size 7 1/2 gray golf shoes for free.  Only worn once! They are in the 18-Hole drawer if you want to try them on.

Next week we’re playing T’s and F’s; only the holes starting with those letters count.  Cathy Houston will be in charge that day.
