So we successfully completed our golf year for the Tee Birds!! 14 hearty souls played in the Turkey Shoot yesterday. Thanks for participating!! Although the comments to have the Turkey Shoot in Summer time kinda defeats the purpose of celebrating Thanksgiving!! HAHA

The Big winner of the day was Jill Chase who was able to complete all 18 holes plus one Drive on #10. Congrats Jill who won $40. Other winners were

The game was Gross/Net Skins. 16 ladies came to try their skill at winning a hole or holes. We had $56 in the purse for the day and here’s how it played out.

Gross Skins

  • Cathy Houston (5) skins Par’s on 4, 9, 10, 14, 17             $4.65 each or $23.25
  • Cindy Renshaw (2) skins Pars on 7 and 12                         $9.30

I know I made up the game, but was not expecting the results!! 😊

Chip-In today was Cindy Renshaw on number 4, which was a par for a net 3.  We thought she would get a skin for it too, but Cathy Fancey cut her with a par 4 for a net eagle 2 on the same hole.

Cindy’s chip in payment was $16.

Hello Ladies,
Thank you to the 23 ladies who played today.  Today’s game was “Best 9 Holes,” and you picked your own foursome.  We had eight ladies in Flight 1, seven ladies in Flight 2, and eight ladies in Flight 3.
Congratulations to our winners:


Flight 1 –

  • 1st Place – Tie:   Cathy Houston winning $16 with a game score of 29 -Tie broken on Back 9 with a 20.
  • 2nd Place – Tie: Linda Montgomery winning $8 with a game score of 29 -Tie broken on Back 9 with a 22.
  • 3rd Place: Cindy Renshaw winning $4 with a game score of 30.


Flight 2 –

  • 1st Place: Hilary Frigillana winning $15 with a game score of 27.
  • 2nd Place: Sandy Smith winning $6.50 with a game score of 28.
  • 3rd Place Tie: Deb Martin and Joanne Leete tied with a game score of 29 (Both had a 26 on the Back 9), and they share the winning pot of $3 for $1.50 each.


Flight 3 –

  • 1st Place: Sondi Schnee winning $16 with a game score of 25 – lowest score of the day!
  • 2nd Place: Deborah Veatch winning $8 with a game score of 26.
  • 3rd Place: Fe Estrera winning $4 with a game score of 27.
