Notes from Advisory Board meeting

Notes from Advisory Board:

  1. Walk-in tee times being reduced: Friday’s will be reduced to three walk-in times and Saturday’s and Sundays will be reduced to seven times.
  2. Twenty new trees will be planted, 10 Australian Willow, 10 Ash
  3. New drain is complete on #13.
  4. New range balls are on order.
  5. A small green salad is now available as a “side” at no extra charge. (ie., instead of french fries).
  6. Request was made to trim the tree on the left side of Hole 9 as well as let the rough grow up around the right side of the green on 9 to keep balls hit onto the green from rolling into the water.
  7. Rocks in the penalty areas around the water should not be moved as they are part of the erosion control. Signs will be posted regarding this.
  8. Patio cover on the rounded area above the pro shop should be installed around April.
  9. Tribute bands coming: June 20 Rod Stewart, August 22 Journey
  10. A video on the proper way to rake a bunker will be out shortly.

Regards,
Donna

“The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page.” ~St. Augustine~

  • #6 bunker, new fabric, drain fixed, sand replaced
  • #4 front bunker – the next project for drains, then #15 on the right.
  • #12 has a high water table. Will try to raise the soil (with a top dressing, though this process takes a while).
  • Club has purchased a new 72″ John Deere mower.
  • Approximately 73 rakes have been purchased, about 70 more to go. Have tried to keep the best of what we have until those arrive.
  • Our web host provider is going out of business, looking for a new vendor.
  • We have a new sous chef
  • State of the club letter should be coming out soon from Mark.

Regards,
Donna
