Hello Ladies,

We had a large group of 30 ladies playing golf today in the warm summertime weather.  We welcomed our new members and are so glad they joined us:  Natalie Fogel and Deya Williamson.  The two games were  Odd Number Holes less one-half your handicap and Putts on Odd Number Holes. There were three flights with 10 ladies in each flight.  Each winner received $16 in their Club account, second place received $8 and third place won $4.  There were two overall Putts winners, and first place received $15 while second got $6.

First Flight (Course Handicap 0-23):

1st Place:  Cathy Houston – Game Score of 35.5 – $16

2nd Place Tie – Broken by Back 9: Cindy Aafedt – Game Score of 36 / 16 – $8

3rd Place:  Donna Ybarra – Game Score of 36 / 17 – $4

1st Place: Hilary Frigillana-Game Score of 33.5 – $16

2nd Place:  Mary Watkins – Game Score of 36 – $8

3rd Place:  Sandy Smith – Game Score of 36.5 – $4

Play Day Results-Aug 21, 2025

Well, we finished before it hit 100 degrees.  We played 2 person net total, blind draw. Results were:

1st place – net 66 – Kay Bargmann and Lani Maloney, $12.00 each.

2nd place – net 68 -Terry Billingham and Vicki Lindeland, $8.00 each.

We had a 3 way tie for 3rd at net 69 and after eliminating one team , via back nine playoff, two teams were also tied after a front nine playoff, so third place was divided 4 ways, $2.25 to Mary Watkins, Joann Smith, Hilary Frigillana and Fran Grace…

Only 1 Birdie today, Hilary Frigillana on hole 11.

2 chip ins today worth $6.50 each to Jan Baehr and Mary Watkins.

Closies today were worth $4.80 each.

Play Day Results-Aug 12, 2025

Well the game was Maids Quarters (count your net score on all par 4’s) and the weather and company were good!! We had 14 ladies play on this Tuesday as the Senior Men’s Invitational is tomorrow and Thursday. As we go into next year, I think the prudent thing to do will be to skip playing the week of another member event. Too many vying for tee times today 😊. We had two flights today with 2 winners in each.

Next week is make your own foursome week and no official play day. We have CVTP along with outside travel. But sign up and get in the shotgun next Thursday 8/21….if you’d like. 

8/28/25 is our last play day in August, Doris and Sally will be hosting. It’s also our General Meeting after golf.
