Play Day Results-June 13, 2024

Thank you to the 12 ladies who came out to play today.  We played Net Stableford and the results were:

Flight 1

  • 1st place – Jan Baehr, 37 points, $14.70
  • 2nd place – Julie Hanson, 34 points, $6.30

Flight 2

  • 1st place – Jeanne Zwemer, 40 points, $17.70
  • 2nd place – Joanne Leete, 37 points, $6.30

There were two chip-ins, each earning $6.

  • Jeanne Zwemer, Hole 14
  • Jan Baehr, Hole 18

There was only one CTP winner:  Stacey Moro, Hole 16, 32’.  She made the putt and was the only player with a birdie!

PUT THE DBWGC ICON ON YOUR iPHONE:

Play Day Results-May 30, 2024

28 Ladies came out to play Red White and Blue. As I said at lunch, I did not place the pins today………….I was as surprised as you that the Red Pins were on all the hardest holes………which of course needed 3 balls. I mentioned to Kelly, and she laughed and said “I chose the game” …. 😊

Some good scoring today. Par was 146 and every foursome was under par. We had 7 teams, so 3 in Flight A and 4 in Flight B.

Flight A winner at an outstanding score of 121 was Donna Ybarra, Rebecca Heagle, Annette Krey and Lani Maloney. They won $40 or $10 per team member. 

Flight B winner also a low score of 134 was Julie Hanson, Hilary Frigillana, Joanne Smith and Mary Watkins. They also won $40 or $10 per team member.

2nd place Flight B was a score of 143 by Doris Bunnell, Cindy Aafedt, Sally Sturney and Deborah Veatch. They won $18 or $4.50 per team member. They won in a card off on the back 9 with the team of Fran Grace, Pamela Musselman, Sandy Smith and Jeanne Zwemer.

Club Championship and Net Championship will be held July 16th and 18th. It will be a combined tournament and will be played from the gold tees. More information to come in the next 2 weeks as to cost and rules for tournament. If interested sign up on Club Essential beginning 6/10/24 on the July 18th tab.
