Well, the weather was wonderful, but I’m not so sure everyone had wonderful game.
We had 19 ladies play in our Turkey Shoot. We paid 7 places (standard is paying 1/3rd the field and 21 originally signed up so 7 gift cards were purchased), and all those who made it to hole 18 won! Joanne Smith was on the green on 18 and won 1st ($10 Safeway gift card), Cindy Aafedt was next, winning a $7 Safeway gift card. The other winners, $5 Safeway gift card, in descending order were: Annette Krey, Julie Hanson, Jill Chase, Bonnie Ladd, and Charlene Kleiner.
Cindy Aafedt had the lone chip-in on hole 14, worth $21. Shelly Morgan got closest to the pin on hole 7 (12’3″) and hole 17 (19’9″) for Handicaps 0-30, and Joanne Smith got closest on hole 7 (11’11”) for Handicaps 31-36. There was no one from that Handicap on hole 17. Closest to the pin paid $5 each.
Birdies were Cindy Aafedt and Sondi Schnee on hole 2, and Cindy Aafedt on hole 14.
