Hello Ladies,
We had 21 ladies playing in beautiful weather today. Note that there are slight differences in these final results than what was announced Thursday after lunch. The first game was Five of Clubs where each player is restricted to a maximum of five clubs selected before the round. A second game played was total putts with one overall winner.
Five of Clubs: First place winners got $15.50 and second place received $5 in their Club account.
Flight 1 (0-18 handicap)
1st Place: Maria Chacon with a score of 75 – $15.50. (Driver, 5-Wood, 7 Hybrid, 47-degree Wedge, and Putter)
Note that Cindy Renshaw (3- Wood, 7-Wood, 7 Iron, A-Wedge, and Putter), also in Flight 1, had the lowest score of 74, but Cindy’s putts payout was higher, and a player cannot win more than one game in a play day.
Flight 2 (19-30 handicap)
1st Place: Sandy Smith with a score of 73 – $15.50. (5-Wood, 4/5 Hybrid, 7-Iron, Pitching Wedge, and Putter)
2nd Place: 3-way tie with a score of 75 –
- Jill Chase (Driver, 5-Wood, 7-Wood, 9-Iron, and Putter)
- Debbie Martin (3-Wood, 9-Wood, 8-Iron, Pitching Wedge, and Putter)
- Hilary Frigillana (Driver, 5-Wood, 11-Wood, 8-Iron and Putter), each winning $1.66/$1.67 for a total of $5.00.
Flight 3 (all 36 handicaps)
1st Place: Deborah Veatch with a score of 73 – $15.50. (Driver, 5-Wood, 6-Hybrid, 9-Iron, and Putter)
2nd Place: Bonnie Ladd with a score of 77 – $5.00. (Driver, 5-Wood, 8-Iron, 6-Hybrid, and Putter)
Total Putts: Cindy Renshaw was the overall winner achieving a great score of 27 (13 on the front and 14 on the back). Cindy won $17. As stated above, Cindy also had the lowest score for her Five of Clubs-Flight 1 with a score of 74. Awesome day, Cindy!
